President Obama: Tell General Amos to apologize or resign | AMERICAblog Petition
President Obama:
It is offensive, outrageous and false for General James Amos, commandant of the Marine Corps, to claim that Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell repeal would lead to soldiers dying and losing their limbs. General Amos needs to either apologize or resign immediately.

Ask Meghan McCain to talk about repealing "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" with Sen. John McCain before it's too late
Dear Meghan:
We, the undersigned, urge you to have a Courageous Conversation with your father. You are in a unique position to convince him to withdraw his threat to filibuster the defense budget bill and undermine the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”
You’ve become a leader in the fight to modernize your party’s position on gay rights. And you understand that the most important way to change someone’s mind about equality for gays and lesbians is by having a conversation with a loved one.
There’s no time to lose. Please have a Courageous Conversation with your father as soon as possible, and ask him to do the right thing for our armed forces and for equal rights, and withdraw his threat to filibuster the defense budget bill.
Sincerely,
YOU (who should sign this too)
